2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E

2025 Ford
Mustang Mach-E

Ford has graced the Mustang Mach-E with some notable enhancements for 2025. Aside from three new color options – Velocity Blue, Molten Magenta, and Terrain – the exterior now has a black-painted front splitter, with the GT trim also sporting an attractive black grille. Inside, the newly introduced 'Superstalk' combines the wiper and indicator controls, and the gear selector has been relocated to the steering column, freeing up center console space. The SYNC 4A interface has been refreshed for improved usability. For better passenger comfort, a heat pump now appears on every trim, which can potentially extend driving range in cold weather.

Trims and Powertrain

The 2025 Mustang Mach-E lineup includes a quartet of trims: Select, Premium, GT, and Rally. Single-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) is standard on the Select and Premium, but dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) optional (it’s included with the GT and Rally). The Select and Premium have a standard-range 73 kWh battery. An extended-range 88 kWh battery is available with the Select (AWD only) and Premium, while the GT and Rally get a 91 kWh unit.

In RWD form, the Select and Premium with the standard battery setup produces 264 horsepower, while the Premium with the extended-range battery gets a boost to 272 horsepower. AWD editions provide 325 horsepower (the Premium with the extended-range battery makes 370 horsepower). The GT and Rally put out 480 horsepower (the GT Performance upgrade and the Rally generate 700 lb.-ft. of torque, versus 600 lb.-ft. for the base GT).

The trims’ EPA-estimated ranges vary by configuration. The Select offers 260 miles (RWD) or 240 miles (AWD) with standard batteries, or 300 miles (AWD) with extended-range cells. The Premium will give you 260 miles (RWD) or 240 miles (AWD) with standard batteries, and 320 miles (RWD) or 300 miles (AWD) with the extended-range. The GT reaches 280 miles, while the Rally achieves 265 miles.

The Ford Connect Charge Station offers the fastest home charging, replenishing standard-range batteries in the Select and Premium in 7.8 hours (RWD) or 7.7 hours (AWD) from 0% to 100%, while the GT and Rally require 9.9 hours with their extended-range batteries – all using a 48-amp charger with a 240-volt outlet. The included Ford Mobile Charger takes approximately 11.9 hours for standard-range batteries and 2 to 3 hours longer for extended-range packs, adding about 21 miles of range per hour. Level 3/DC fast charging brings batteries from 10% to 80% for quicker top-ups in approximately 32 minutes (standard-range) or 36 minutes (extended-range).
