The Power of Waze is Coming to New Ford Vehicles

Waze is the world's largest community-based traffic and navigation app. It allows you to share real-time traffic and road information with other drivers around Hyannis, Cape Cod, Plymouth, Barnstable, and Harwich.

Ford and Waze are joining up at CES 2018 to announce the navigation app will be available for Ford vehicles that are equipped with the SYNC® 3 system. If you use Waze, you will be able to plug-in your smartphone into your SYNC 3-enabled Ford vehicle and display the app right on the touchscreen display.

“Our goal is to bring a human-centered approach to technology in the vehicle, making it as easy as possible for people to integrate the tools that matter most to them,” said Don Butler, Ford executive director, Connected Vehicle and Services.”

One of the software updates will include Talk to Waze. This allows you to control the app with voice commands. Another feature that you’ll see is HOV route support. This will provide drivers around Wareham and Falmouth additional navigation options and arrival times based on high-occupancy-vehicle lanes.

By working together, people driving through Sandwich, Martha's Vineyard, or Nantucket can help each other improve their daily commute. Waze can help drivers avoid congested roads with other routes, or see when their friends are expected to arrive at their destination.

To view our entire Ford inventory, we invite you to visit Balise Ford of Cape Cod. From there, we’ll be more than happy to give you a walkthrough of the SYNC® 3 system.
