The 2025 Ford Super Duty range continues with the F-250, F-350, and F-450 versions. The lineup is offered in five trim packages: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. Cab configurations are the Regular Cab (XL and XLT), SuperCab (F-250, F-350: XL and XLT), and Crew Cab options. Cargo bed choices are either 6.75-foot (F-250, F-350) or 8-foot, with availability varying by trim and cab style. The F-250 comes standard with single rear wheels, the F-350 offers optional dual rear wheels, and the F-450 is made only with dual rear wheels.
For 2025, the powertrain lineup has been restructured. The 6.8-liter V8 gas engine (400 horsepower, 445 lb.-ft. of torque) is now standard on the XL, XLT, and Lariat. The 7.3-liter V8 gas engine (430 horsepower, 485 lb.-ft. of torque) is standard on the King Ranch and Platinum. The 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel with 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb.-ft. of torque remains standard with the F-450 and optional for the others. The high-output 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel generating 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb.-ft. of torque is an option across the Super Duty range.
Rear-wheel drive is standard on the XL, with four-wheel drive optional (4WD) and included with the higher trims. All engines pair with variations of the ten-speed automatic transmission. The Super Duty’s maximum towing capacity reaches 40,000 pounds with a diesel-gooseneck configuration or 30,000 pounds with the standard diesel setup. The payload capacity extends as high as 8,000 pounds.
The 2025 Super Duty XL will give you a work-focused package including a power-locking tailgate, automatic quad halogen headlights, black-finish bumpers and front grille, manual telescoping and folding trailer tow side mirrors (with heat and power controls), and 17-inch steel wheels. Its cabin offers manual climate control, vinyl upholstery, a 4.2-inch driver information display, a 40/20/40-split front bench, cruise control, vinyl floor covers, power windows and door locks, multiple USB ports, and a manual tilt/telescoping steering column. The Super Cab and Crew Cab editions have a 60/40-split fold-up rear bench. The XLT is improved with fabric upholstery, an eight-way power driver’s seat, halogen fog lamps, chrome bumpers and front grille, rear privacy glass, carpeting, and 18-inch aluminum wheels.
For 2025, the Lariat receives ActiveX leather-alternative seating surfaces. Its other features include heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats (Crew Cab), dual-zone automatic climate control, a driver’s memory system, an eight-way power front passenger seat, LED lighting, a power tilt/telescoping steering column, and power-adjustable pedals. This trim also has upgraded side mirrors, a power-sliding rear window, remote tailgate release, remote start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 12-inch driver information display, wireless device charging, and rain-sensing wipers.
The King Ranch offers Western-style cabin styling, including Kingsville Antique Affect leather upholstery. This trim boasts numerous other upscale elements, like two-tone accent paint, a head-up display, power-deployable running boards, a power tailgate with integrated step, Pro Power Onboard, unique exterior accents, an on-board scale and smart trailer hitch, and 20-inch aluminum wheels. The Platinum is equipped similarly to the King Ranch but takes on its own look with a Black Onyx interior featuring Platinum Blue accents, a painted black grille and tailgate applique, and body-color door handles. The new Platinum Plus Package can be added for a distinctive satin-finish grille with bright chrome inserts, a Smoked Truffle interior, perforated Venetian leather seating with French stitching, Max Recline seats, and a 2kW Pro Power Onboard. This package also includes ownership perks such as a personalized gift, automatic upgrade to Blue Tier status in the FordPass Rewards program, and other benefits.
The 2025 Super Duty offers a comprehensive suite of safety technologies with varying availability across the trim range. Automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning are standard on the XLT and above and optional on the XL. Blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert is standard on the Lariat and higher and optional on the lower trims. For the King Ranch and Platinum, the standard features include upgraded automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, a lane-keeping system (with lane-keeping alert), front and rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control. These features are optional on the Lariat. The 360-degree trailer camera system is standard on Lariat and above and optional on lower trims.
For 2025, Ford has introduced new trailer technology bundles that include options for auxiliary cameras, an individual trailer-tire pressure monitoring system, and blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage. Starting at the Lariat level, a surround-view monitor and reverse brake assist come standard (they’re optional on XL and XLT0. All trims get a set of airbags plus anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, trailer sway control, hill start assist, and a rearview monitor.
The 2025 Super Duty offers a tiered infotainment approach with Ford’s SYNC 4. The XL and XLT get an 8-inch touchscreen, while a 12-inch touchscreen is standard on the Lariat and above (and optional on the XLT). The audio system also varies by trim: the XL and XLT have a six-speaker setup (four speakers with Regular Cab), the Lariat gets an eight-speaker B&O system (also optional on the XLT for F-250 and F-350), and the King Ranch and Platinum are loaded with a 14-speaker B&O system (optional on Lariat). SiriusXM satellite radio and connected navigation are standard on the Lariat and above and optional on the XLT. Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and Bluetooth are standard on all trims.
The connectivity features for the Super Duty lineup include FordPass Connect and 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability. Ford Pro software and Telematics provide fleet managers with available tools to monitor and optimize vehicle performance and efficiency.
