Updates for 2025

For the 2025 model year, the Bronco continues to evolve with exciting new features. The two-door Stroppe Special Edition debuts as a tribute to the 1960s-era Baja Bronco. Tailored for high-speed desert adventures, the Stroppe Edition comes equipped with a stabilizer bar disconnect, a HOSS 3.0 suspension system, and 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires. Ford has also added the Black Appearance Package, which joins the retro-inspired Free Wheeling Package in the cosmetic options category.

Every ‘25 Bronco also now gets factory-installed matte-clear film for both aesthetics and protection against harsh elements. Other available upgrades for this model year include a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, a more powerful 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, rear seat ventilation (four-door configuration only), enhanced interior lighting and sound insulation, and new rugged-terrain tires in conjunction with the Sasquatch Package.

Trims, Powertrains, and Performance

Ford present the 2025 Bronco in seven trim packages: Base, Big Bend, Heritage Edition, Outer Banks, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor. The Base and Badlands are offered as either a two-door or four-door, while the Big Bend, Outer Banks, Heritage Edition, and Raptor are exclusively four-door. The Stroppe Edition is only available as a two-door. Roof options include a hard top or a soft top, depending on the configuration. The hard top is standard on the two-door Base and four-door Raptor and is available for other trims like the two-door Badlands and four-door Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands. Soft tops are standard on four-door Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands.

Most Broncos have a standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine (output: 275 horsepower and 315 lb.-ft. of torque) mated to a seven-speed manual transmission or an available 10-speed automatic. A 2.7-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 producing 330 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque is standard in the Stroppe Edition and optional for the Outer Banks, Heritage Edition, and Badlands trims. On the high-performance end, the Raptor boasts a 3.0-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 generating 418 horsepower and 440 lb.-ft. of torque.

Part-time 4WD is the rule on the Base, Big Bend, and Outer Banks trims, while advanced 4WD with automatic on-demand engagement is standard on the remaining trims. Broncos equipped with the 2.3-liter or 2.7-liter engine and the Class II Trailer Tow Package can tow up to 3,500 pounds, while those with the 3.0-liter engine can tow up to 4,500 pounds.

Equipment By Trim

The Base Bronco leans toward no-nonsense yet is equipped for adventure, with features like cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, manual climate control, ambient footwell lighting, push-button ignition, a Terrain Management System with five G.O.A.T. modes, a split-folding rear seatback (60/40 with the four-door and 50/50 with the two-door), and four smart-charging USB ports. Its exterior highlights include removable doors and hard-top roof panels (if applicable to the configuration), LED headlights and daytime running lights, heated side mirrors, front and rear tow hooks, rear privacy glass, remote keyless entry, an acoustic windshield, and a HOSS 1.0 suspension. The Big Bend builds on this foundation with heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, remote start, two additional USB ports, and all-terrain tires.

The Outer Banks adds luxury touches with leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, signature LED headlights, and LED fog lights. The Heritage Edition is similar to the Outer Banks, but while it lacks the heated steering wheel, it flaunts a vintage aesthetic with plaid cloth upholstery, plus a slide-out tailgate and overhead console auxiliary switches with pre-run accessory wires. This trim is also part of the Sasquatch Package, which contains advanced 4WD, a high-clearance suspension, high-clearance fender flares, Bilstein shocks, and mud-terrain tires.

The Badlands is ready for the mud and more, thanks to marine-grade vinyl upholstery, underbody skid plates, rock rails, an extra rear tow hook, washout-capable rubberized flooring with drain plugs, two more G.O.A.T. modes, overhead console auxiliary switches with pre-run accessory wires, a more capable HOSS 2.0 suspension with Bilstein dampers, electronic locking front and rear axles, and front stabilizer bar disconnect. It also adds heated front seats for added comfort. The debuting Stroppe Edition pays homage to the racing Broncos of old with its trim-specific vinyl seating, orange accents, high-coverage fender flares, heavy-duty modular front bumper, HOSS 3.0 suspension (Fox internal bypass dampers, higher ground clearance, severe-duty steering rack and tie rod ends, front steel bumper), and rugged-terrain tires.

The Raptor is the ultimate off-road Bronco. Along with its special front fenders and distinct design, it gets the high-output 3.0-liter V6, a HOSS 4.0 suspension with internal bypass semi-active dampers, all-terrain tires, comprehensive bash plates, Rigid Industries LED fog lights, a sport-style steering wheel with paddle shifters, and marine-grade vinyl upholstery.

Active Safety Features

All ’25 Bronco trims are set up with the Ford Co-Pilot360 safety tech suite, which contains pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, hill start assist, and automatic high beams. The Big Bend and above add lane keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. The Stroppe Edition and Raptor get a surround-view camera, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control, which can be added to the Outer Banks and Badlands as options.

Hill descent control (which requires the manual transmission) is also standard in the Base, Big Bend, Badlands, and Heritage Edition. What’s more, Trail Control (Ford’s off-road cruise control system) and Trail Turn Assist are standard in the Outer Banks and Raptor, but they can be optioned in the other trims in conjunction with the 10-speed automatic transmission.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The Ford SYNC 4 infotainment system is standard across all trims, featuring a 12-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, FordPass Connect, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. The Big Bend and higher trims get integrated navigation as well. For audio, while most trims get a seven-speaker system, the Stroppe Edition and Raptor move up to an updated Bang & Olufsen setup with a dozen speakers (optional for the Outer Banks and Badlands).
