The 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor is the most rugged variant of this nameplate and is made only as a four-door. Available removable doors and top add more potential for customization. A 418-horsepower (440 lb.-ft. of torque) 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine pairs with a ten-speed automatic transmission and advanced four-wheel drive with the selectable G.O.A.T. modes to take the Bronco Raptor over the roughest paths. The Bronco Raptor has the same Fox adaptive dampers found on the F-150 Raptor, and its 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires are installed on 17-inch high-gloss painted alloy wheels.
Compared with the standard Bronco lineup, the Raptor model has a beefier suspension and a wider track that gives it superior stability. Towing capacity is higher, too, as it can pull a maximum of 4,500 pounds compared to the other trims’ 3,500-pound limit. The Bronco Raptor boasts a 47.2-degree approach angle, a 40.5-degree departure angle, and a 30.8-degree breakover angle. As for ground clearance, it surpasses that of the Everglades trim by two inches, and water fording is possible up to 37 inches, reducing any limitations on where the Bronco Raptor can go. On the highway, the 2024 Ford Bronco achieves an EPA-estimated 16 mpg. That figure only drops by one mpg around town.
In addition to the specialized components that make it exceptionally rugged, the 2024 Bronco Raptor comes with heated six-way manually adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a sport leather-wrapped steering wheel, intelligent access with push-button start, a 12-inch LCD digital gauge cluster, rubberized flooring with drain plugs, a cargo-area protector, Raptor-branded floor liners (front and back), an auto-dimming rearview mirror, two 12V power points (front center floor console and cargo area), four USB charging ports (two front row, two back row), and a 60/40-split folding rear seat. Exterior touches include a removable Carbonized Gray hardtop, a 150-degree swinging tailgate, a specialized Raptor hood, a Carbonized Gray grille with Black FORD letters, LED lighting, heated folding side-view mirrors, heavy-duty steel bash plates, rock rails with a removable running board, four tow hooks (two front, two rear), and a heavy-duty front bumper with Rigid LED fog and off-road lights. The available interior features include another set of USB ports on the dashboard, a wireless device charging pad, leather-trimmed seating, power-adjustable front seats (10-way driver, 8-way passenger), and a sound-deadening headliner for the hardtop. For the exterior, buyers can add a Shadow Black hardtop, a special wheel lock kit, and unique graphics.
Ford Co-Pilot360 is installed on every Bronco Raptor to provide added safety and driver confidence. Those features consist of adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a lane-keeping system, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, pre-collision assist, automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, and a 360-degree monitor. Anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and a complete set of airbags come standard as well.
The Bronco Raptor’s SYNC 4 infotainment system can be controlled via enhanced voice recognition or its 12-inch touchscreen with swipe capability. SYNC 4’s main features are wireless connectivity through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system with ten speakers and a subwoofer. Access to FordPass Connect services is also included.
