2023 Ford F-150 Raptor for Sale in Hyannis, MA
The Heart of the Raptor R
Beneath the hood of the all-new F-150 Raptor R will be a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that produces 700 hp and 640 lb.-ft. of torque married to a recalibrated version of the renowned SelectShift 10-speed automatic transmission. This is the same powerplant that’s found in the venerable Mustang Shelby GT500, but in this model, it’s been installed with a new pulley system to enhance its off-road capabilities and increase torque delivery. Not only that, but the engine’s air intake volume has increase by 66 percent, allowing it to breathe a little better when pushed to its max.
Mechanical and Off-Road Specs
Aside from its mega-potent powerplant, the debut Raptor R will also make use of a supremely capable long-travel suspension that’s manufactured to absorb the many bumps and dips that are encountered on rough terrain. It will also get 24-inch coil springs which have been optimized for impeccable stability during high-speed desert runs, as well as FOX Live Valve shocks that are specifically tuned to balance handling both on- and off-road. Like the traditional Raptor, the new R variant will receive a medley of advanced technologies that are designed to enhance your off-road escapades. These include Trail Turn Assist (allows you to better navigate tight bends), Trail Control (an off-road cruise control system that handles acceleration and braking), and Trail 1-Pedal Drive (lets drivers control throttle and braking using just one pedal).
Imposing Predator Design
The ’23 Raptor R cuts a formidable figure that’s exemplified by its iconic FORD-stamped grille, black-painted bumpers and fender flares, 17-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, and exclusive Code Orange “R” accents on the grille, power dome, and tailgate. On the rear fenders, a special desert-inspired graphics package is provided to further reinforce its durable demeanor.
Ruggedly Refined Interior
The ’23 Raptor R’s interior embraces a similarly hardened aesthetic, but at the same time, it’s also notably sophisticated. It will receive combination leather and synthetic-suede Recaro sport seats that will help keep you planted during high-output adventures, plus carbon fiber interior accents featuring a unique tri-axial weave design and a special Baja drive mode that’s optimized for high-speed off-roading. As far as infotainment is concerned, the ’23 Raptor R will get Ford’s SYNC 4 system with a 12-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming.
